Presentation on storytelling at regional environmental conference

Annette Frahm and I will present on storytelling at a regional environmental conference in June. Last fall, we provided information about using stories to engage your audience at the Puget Sound Partnership’s ECO Net Summit. At this next conference, we’ll share information about storytelling through video and social media. More details to come!

Teamed up for a win: Seattle Streetcar

Photo of Seattle Streetcar signEngage Northwest teamed up with several communications firms on a Seattle Streetcar proposal, and our team was selected! The Streetcar project is exciting — it will connect over a dozen Seattle neighborhoods, and we’ll engage many diverse audiences.

The project includes communications on the:

  • start-up and ongoing operations of the First Hill and South Lake Union Streetcar lines.
  • design and construction of a streetcar extension on Broadway.
  • design and construction of the Center City line that will connect the streetcar network from Westlake to Pioneer Square.

I’m looking forward to collaborating with project team members and engaging the community on the Seattle Streetcar!

Looking forward to collaborating

After a year working as a part-time public information specialist with Pierce County and assisting clients with communications, I am focused full-time on Engage Northwest! In the last month, I’ve met potential clients, partnered on proposals, and attended civic and community events. I’m getting to know more organizations – large and small – in the Puget Sound region. Looking forward to collaborating on some great projects and programs in 2015!
